ABOUT US

Ultimately, people choose to become youth coaches because they love it. They love giving back, helping kids excel, and mentoring the next generation. Great coaches make a positive impact on every athlete they encounter, and so, Zador Aquatics Management was formed as a "Live to swim, swim to live" Aquatics program.

Erik Zador is the owner of Zador Aquatics Management, LLC. Erik has an extensive background in aquatics, management, coaching, and directing. Fueled by his passion for understanding the nuances of aquatic planning, he leads with a mindful but competitive approach.  Swimming at the age of 5, he became a standout in the sport. Competitive in year round swimming and on to college with achieving Olympic Trial cuts. He starting coaching at the age of 18 alongside his father, Ervin Zador, who was an Olympic Gold medalist in water polo for Hungary in 1956.  From 2012, Erik took over his father’s swim club and from that point forward he has taken his knowledge of swimming and expanded.  He is also the owner and head coach for Ripon Aquatics, a successful swim and water polo program that has produced many high end college athletes, the coaching director for the Ripon Unified School District, as well as many surrounding teams.

ZAM is a professional full-service pool management company that provides staffing solutions for aquatics centers, high schools, community pools, and city pools. ZAM manages facilities in San Joaquin and Stanislaus Counties and can provide you with various solutions for your aquatic facility.

ZAM recruits and hires experienced, mature, and friendly  swim/water polo instructors and  lifeguards who have been thoroughly screened by the Zador Aquatics Management Team.  All ZAM instructors have a minimum three years swimming and or instruction experience, have undergone background checks, and are certified and insured. Each swim instructor or lifeguard  has gone through a rigorous training program to earn their Red Cross/Lifesaving Instructor certification, CPR-C and Standard First Aid certification. Additionally, some instructors hold advanced instructing qualifications.

 

Because ZAM offers swim and water polo experts who teach private swim/water polo lessons often on a one-to-one basis or in a small group setting, clients see results much quicker than with other swim programs. Results include shorter time to progress through the swim levels, increased confidence in and around the water, safety awareness and improved stroke form, strength, coordination, agility and speed.
